These tabi socks feature a double-layer construction, with 100% silk against the skin and 100% linen on the outside. Lightweight, breathable, and refreshingly comfortable, they are especially suited to the warmer months.
For this updated version, the stretch yarn (the elastic yarn that gives socks their flexibility) has been positioned as close to the outer layer as possible, allowing the silk to cover nearly the entire surface that touches the skin.
While the inner layer of our standard toe socks uses a silk pile construction, these tabi socks feature a flatter knit structure for an even lighter and thinner feel.The silk gently absorbs moisture, while the outer linen layer quickly releases it, helping keep your feet dry and comfortable throughout the day.
Linen is also naturally quick-drying and resistant to bacterial growth, making it an ideal material for maintaining freshness during the summer season.

While our toe socks are often enjoyed as the first layer in a layering system, these tabi socks are designed to be worn on their own. Wearing them as a single layer allows you to fully appreciate the unique comfort created by the combination of silk and linen. We especially recommend them for spring and summer.

〈About the Wide Fit Version〉
These tabi socks feature a heel-less, unisex tube design. Compared to our toe socks, however, the shape is slightly more streamlined, which may feel snug for those with larger or fuller feet.
For this reason, we have also created a Wide Fit version with a more generous circumference.

〈The Benefits of Tabi Socks〉
One of the unique features of tabi socks is the separation between the big toe and second toe. This design helps activate the foot’s natural sense of balance and encourages the muscles that support the arch between the big toe and little toe to work more naturally.

By supporting these muscles, tabi socks can help promote better posture and a more balanced distribution of weight. The area between the big toe and second toe is carefully designed to avoid unnecessary pressure, creating a comfortable fit.

Compared to last year’s version, we have shortened the length by approximately 4 cm, creating a lighter silhouette for spring and summer. They can be worn straight or gently scrunched around the ankle, pairing beautifully with both trousers and skirts.

At first, the tabi shape may feel slightly unfamiliar. Over time, however, many people find that the socks begin to feel like a natural extension of the body—so comfortable that they almost forget they are wearing them.

At the same time as moving the stretch yarn toward the outer layer, we have also adopted a cotton-covered stretch yarn for the Flax colour for the first time.This small new experiment was born from our desire to bring even the unseen parts of our socks closer to natural materials.（Cotton 92% / Polyurethane 8%）
