Tabi “Ashi no Hadagi” Silk & Wool, Long Length — approximately 10 cm longer than the regular length.
These tabi socks have a double-layer construction, knitted with 100% wool on the outside and 100% silk on the inside. By placing the under thread as much as possible toward the outside, the inside is designed so that silk comes fully into contact with the skin. The inner layer has the same flat-knit structure as our〈petta〉, making these slightly thinner than our five-toe “Ashi no Hadagi Silk & Wool,” which has a silk pile lining.
By combining highly moisture-regulating silk and wool, the socks absorb and release moisture around the feet, helping maintain a soft, dry and comfortable feel. Though lightweight, they also offer the natural warmth of wool, making them comfortable to wear throughout the seasons.

Our inner and outer layers are knitted with 100% natural fiber yarns. However, socks also need elastic thread to maintain a comfortable fit and stay in place. As elastic thread made entirely from natural materials is not currently available for sock production in Japan, we use synthetic elastic thread (listed as “under thread”). We carefully design our socks so that natural fibers are in contact with the skin as much as possible.
