From relaxing moments at home to quiet time while traveling,
Snug wool felt room shoes support your body from the ground up.
Crafted from wool and rayon—a regenerated fiber derived from natural materials and biodegradable—these room shoes are shaped by carefully sculpting felt fabric into a three-dimensional form that gently wraps around your feet.
The wool’s natural insulation, warmth, and moisture control keep your feet comfortable and dry, even when worn barefoot.
Thanks to wool’s natural self-cleaning properties, they resist dirt and require minimal care.
They keep your feet warm in winter, and in warmer seasons they absorb and release excess moisture, maintaining a light, dry feel even when worn barefoot.
Designed for year-round use, they pair well with Glück und Gute socks.
Snug90 and Snug80 differ in wool content.
Snug90 contains 90% wool, offering a firmer feel with a thickness of approximately 3mm.
Snug80, made with 80% wool and 20% regenerated fiber, has a softer, fuller texture with a thickness of approximately 4mm.
(Snug90 will be discontinued once sold out.)
〈A New Insole Model〉
A new model combining Snug with a BMZ insole has been introduced.
The sole of the foot includes a bone called the cuboid, which plays an important role in balance and stability.
BMZ insoles are designed with a unique structure that supports this cuboid bone, helping guide the foot’s arch toward its natural position and supporting everyday movements such as standing and walking.
Even at home, improved stability at the feet can bring subtle changes to posture and overall body balance.
〈Background〉
This model was born from my own physical discomfort.
At one point, I began experiencing sudden and persistent pain around my shoulder blade.
As I started to reconsider how I use and care for my body, a practitioner pointed out the condition of my feet and suggested wearing supportive shoes even at home to assist the cuboid bone.
However, I was not someone who regularly wore sports shoes, and I also felt resistance to wearing shoes indoors.
That was when I was introduced to BMZ insoles.
When I tried placing them inside my room shoes, I immediately noticed improved stability and changes in how I stood and moved.
However, simply inserting existing insoles caused a mismatch in both appearance and material feel.
From there, I began developing a solution, working closely with BMZ through repeated trials and refinements.
This process led to a model in which the insole fits naturally within the room shoe.
Combining the comfort of natural materials with support from the sole of the foot, this pair is designed to help bring greater balance to your time at home.
The insole option is available as a selectable variation.
I believe there are many people who experience similar challenges with their feet.
I hope this helps you feel more comfortable and supported in your daily life.
