On mornings when even the news reminds us to be careful of the heat,we wanted to create a pair of toe socks that you would naturally reach for—light, breathable, and easy to wear.

At the same time, we hoped to offer something made purely from linen for those who truly love this material.This is how our “Foot Undergarment Linen 100”was born.

Linen has a crisp, refreshing texture, but it is also a challenging material to work with.

The yarn is strong, yet stiff and prone to breaking during knitting.In our earlier linen toe socks, this resulted in a firmer and slightly heavier feel, which could be a bit much on very hot days.

Still, we wanted to respond to those who prefer 100% linen.We went back to the drawing board to create something lighter, something you would want to wear even more.
Most socks are knitted with elastic threads such as polyurethane or nylon to provide stretch.

For this pair, however, we chose not to use any elastic yarns, knitting only with linen.By removing elastic threads, small spaces are naturally created within the fabric,resulting in an exceptionally light, airy feel—more like a piece of cloth than a typical knitted sock.

The cuff is gently supported with a soft elastic band to keep the socks in place,while preserving the natural lightness of the fabric.
Linen has excellent moisture absorption and release properties,helping to quickly dissipate heat and moisture from the feet for a comfortable environment.

It is also a sustainable material, as flax grows quickly and is biodegradable, returning to the earth after use.

When held up to the light, you can faintly see the shape of your hand through the fabric.We invite you to experience these “cloth-like” toe socks.
